  Types of Massages We Offer

Swedish Massage relaxes the body, increases circulation, and manually aids in the removal of wastes from the body.

Deep Tissue Massage is designed to break up scar tissue and “knots” that have formed from repetitive actions or injuries.

Shiatsu is an eastern therapy based on energy meridians, balance and flow. It is effective for releasing energy blockagess and centering the body.

Thai Massage is also known as “double yoga” as it leverages the body of the therapist to stretch the major muscles and joints of the client.

Accelerated Healing Techniques are used to lengthen tight, shortened muscles.

Hot Stone Therapy is used to warm and relax muscles so that they respond to bodywork more efficiently.

Prenatal Massage is a wonderful way to help the body of an expectant mother adapt to the changes of pregnancy.

Reiki is energetic work channeled through the practitioner in a specific pattern in order to heal and harmonize the client’s body.

Bowenwork is a technique that originated in Australia by a man named Tom Bowen. It is a series of procedures applied to the body to send signals to the proprioceptors of the muscles to tell them to allow the body to lengthen. Our proprioceptors detect muscle length and, as we age, do repetitive movement, or become injured, our muscles start to shorten. Those proprioceptors protect us from injuring ourselves by holding that shortening. Bowenwork speaks directly to the receptors, telling them it is ok to let the muscles lengthen. The treatment can be done over clothing, and it is performed by the therapist completing a few procedures at a time, then leaving the room to give the body time to respond.
